The Zappi has three modes: Eco (charges on any available solar), Eco+ (waits for full solar surplus), and Fast (full 7kW regardless of solar). If you have solar, we strongly recommend a Zappi or Ohme charger for maximum savings.
Most home EV chargers are installed on an external wall near the driveway or parking space. The charger needs to be within reach of the vehicle's charge port — typically 5–7.5m with a tethered lead. We assess the optimal location during our free survey, considering cable route length to your consumer unit, wall material, weather exposure, and cable tidiness. Pedestal-mounted options are available for driveways without a suitable wall.
